SCHEDULE
Regular JC 1 Economics Tuition class schedule (H2) is as follows:
- Sat (1-3pm) @ Bt Timah or on Zoom: Demand & Supply –> Mkt Structures –> Mkt Failure
- Wed (7-9pm) @ Bt Timah or on Zoom : Demand & Supply –> Mkt Failure –> Mkt Structures
Regular JC 1 Economics Tuition class schedule (H1):
- Mon (7-9pm) @ Goldhill Plaza or on Zoom
* All JC 1 Economics tuition classes are held in a hybrid format – students can attend via Zoom or on-site at the classroom indicated above. Each student will be provided with a video recording after the class to help them review the lesson at their own pace.
* As H2 students from different schools cover the JC 1 syllabus in different sequences (e.g. Demand and Supply –> Firms and How They Operate –> Market Failure vs Demand and Supply –> Market Failure –> Firms and How They Operate), different class slots are provided to mirror the schools’ teaching sequences.
* It is not uncommon for H2 Economics students to opt for a slot that does not provide a perfect match for their school’s scheme of work, since the examination scope for the promos remain the same. Students are also welcome to attend both slots at no extra charge if they wish to learn ahead. Students learning some macroeconomic topics in the first year will be provided with a set of recorded videos by TET to help them keep pace.
* First lesson can be conducted as a paid trial.

At first, I constantly struggled to grasp how the subject worked and felt extremely lost whenever it came to competing tutorial questions. Mr Koh has consistently delivered tried and tested answering techniques, packaged into memorable acronyms and collated into highly effective and useful revision documents.
I had joined fairly late, May of JC2, and I was very worried whether I could catch up and turn around my failing H2 Economics grade in such short time. Mr Koh's thorough and very concise consolidated notes greatly helped me to understand how to approach Economics concepts in order to write common essays.
Although Econs was definitely an extremely intimidating subject, especially for me as someone who struggles to make sense of economic concepts, Mr Koh’s notes and lessons really helped to structure the way i think and approach econs questions that ultimately made a world of a difference in my learning. he also provided a safe and comfortable space to ask questions even through the zoom platform, and greatly encouraged me to do more practices and learn from my mistakes instead of dwelling on past failures..
