Content Coverage: Key content from each J2 topic will be taught, together with a set of frameworks and mnenomics to aid students with memory work.
Application Skills: Writing structures will be taught to make answering A Level Economics questions more intuitive for students. With a clear structure guiding students on where to start and end an essay, time management becomes less of an issue.
Building Conviction: Through running through past year Prelim and A Level Economics questions, students gain greater confidence and conviction in using Mr Koh’s answering techniques in their practices. Submissions are marked and returned within the same week.

* All J2 economics tuition classes are held in a hybrid format – students can attend via Zoom or on-site at the classroom indicated above. Each student will be provided with a video recording after the class to help them review the lesson at their own pace.
* First lesson can be conducted as a paid trial.

COURSE FEES
H1/H2:
Register in JC2: $560 (for four weeks) for H2 and $480 for H1
Once registered, the fees will be locked in throughout the student’s stint with us, i.e. the fees will remain the same from the point of registration until the student graduates.
The fees includes access to Mr Koh’s online resources (online essay-writing software, flashcards, revision Android/iPhone apps).
How We Teach J2 Economics
Mr Koh places a strong emphasis on teaching application skills in his economics tuition. His lessons follow a CAM framework, focusing on Content, Application, and Methodology. He covers essential content by breaking it down into sections that students must grasp for essay-writing and CSQ questions. Mr. Koh’s A Level economics tuition helps students streamline their revision process and maintain a sharp focus.
The teaching of application skills is the crucial second component of Mr. Koh’s economics classes. He analyzes school and Cambridge examination questions to identify key concepts for each chapter, which he refers to as “parachute concepts.” These concepts cover a significant portion of the syllabus and are often featured in exam questions to assess students’ depth of knowledge.
