Macroeconomics 2 – Applying the A3 exercise to answering macro questions

Now that we’ve considered the Causes and Cures to macroeconomic problems, let’s synergise what we have learnt through an A3 exercise. This basically means to consider how policy solutions address the different root causes of macroeconomic problems. To understand how the policy options above can be used to tackle various macroeconomic problems, students can make use of an A3-exercise as illustrated. This exercise makes use of repetition and colour codes to enable students to see the patterns and big picture surrounding macroeconomic policies.
